Candy Jar Gifts

Hello and welcome to my Whatever Wednesday post. Today I am showcaseing some gifting jars I made. I was inspired by a Stampin' Up class on how to make these and so I put my own spin on them and was able to use them for gifts to my cropping friends.

I purchased the jars at IKEA. They were 4 jars for $3.50! This is a side view

and here are the jars made in class that inspired my own version. Thanks Mary!

I think these are so cute and could be used for so many gifts. You could fill them with M&M's for a kids party, bath salts or homemade lotion, coins or other goodies. The options are endless.

Hope you are inspired to make these little jars. All you need is a circle punch and a nice stamp and add a tag, Viola!

Have a great day! Time to make something beautiful!

Perfectly Purple Notepad cover

Hi There! Thank you for stopping by my little space on the blog sphere. Today's post is showcasing a notepad cover. I made quite a few of these a little while ago and promised to share each one with you. Here is one for today.

This one was made for my sister, Jeanne. The photo reminded me of her and she loves purple so it seemed like a perfect fit.
Here is a close up of the embellishments. You can find the tutorial I used to make this notepad cover in the tutorial section of my blog.
I also decorated the pen and the notepad itself to match.

Products:
Bazzill card stock- Pansy
general black card stock
patterned paper from JoAnns Fabric single sheet
RSVP pen
Wild Orchid paper flowers
ribbon from Michael's craft store
clip from stash

Take Care, stay warm and make sure to create something beautiful!

Tinsel Tuesday - Watercolor Bird

Hello all! Welcome to my Tinsel Tuesday post.  T For today's card I chose to use watercolors. It's almost time for the Holidays and so I thought some sparkly red was in order. Actually, I made this card for my mom back in the summer (lol),  she just loves birds and so it was sent as a  just because card for her but the stamp is technically a Christmas stamp.

I used card stock and some masking for the upper portion of the card and then patterned paper for the lower portion.

popped the image using some foam adhesive and finished it off with this lovely May Arts ribbon. I love May Arts ribbon. Sorry i don't know the name of this ribbon. I bought it by the yard at my LSS.

I hope you enjoyed my post today and find time for yourself to make something beautiful!
