Thank You to my Friends and Followers!

My Posts

Hello All! I thought I would share the method to the madness.
My goal is to post these creations bi-weekly. I am also posting for design teams so keep an eye out for those too.

Card Making Monday (CMM) -These are cards I've made using various techniques. Usually something new I've learned or some technique I haven't used in a while. If it's something new, I'll link the tutorial I used in my Tutorial tab at the top.

Tinsel Tuesday (TT) -My goal is NOT to leave all my Christmas card making until Novemeber after the rush of Thanksgiving cards have been made and sent. So, to accomplish this goal I've created Tinsel Tuesday. These posts will be Christmas cards only. My hope is,  I'll inspire you to begin your Christmas card making and I'll have several of my Christmas cards completed by early December.  I'll use various techniques, colors and themes just to keep the mojo going and use a variety of my crafting supply stash.

Whatever Wednesdays (WW) - My Wednesday Posts used to showcase cards made for Operation Write Home however, the non-profit close up shop on August 1, 2015 so until I can come up with some other theme, I'll just post extra projects I want to share on Wednesdays.

Using My Tools Thursday (UMT)- Ok, so this post came about when I realized I kept going back to the same few tools over and over to make cards or scrapbook pages. What about all those "Must Haves!" that I purchased in the store over the years? Those tools, pattern papers, stamps & embellishments that seemed so important to buy at the time but then ended up in a drawer or box. Some still in the packaging! *gasp*.  I thought, I'll pick a few things out and every Thursday I'll make some sort of project using something new (well old lol).  Maybe I'll actually get through some of the stuff I've hoarded. I've made cards, scrapbook layouts even a canvas or two using craft supplies I completely forgot I had. The funny thing is, it's even cut down on my spending because I'm paying more attention to using my existing supplies! *GASP!* lol.

Hmmm...I never thought of including my cakes in the Using My Tools Thursday posts but like any crafter we all have way too much stuff. My cake closet is no different...I'll have to start using some of my cake tools and post them on a Using my Tools post. Check out my cakes on the My Cakes tab at the top.

Feature Friday (FF)-As my blog began to grow I wanted to express thanks to my followers and give a reason for more bloggers to join me on my cake making & crafting journey. Every Friday I welcome new blog followers to all things beautiful and link their blogs in that post so we can all visit their new creations! Then I choose a few of my favorite projects made that week by existing followers. I keep track of who I've showcased so everyone has an equal opportunity to be my Feature Fav.

Scrapbook Saturday (SS)- I love scrapbooking. I never knew how scrapbooking was going to pull me in (I should say suck me) into the paper crafting world. I was a scrapbooker, then a card maker and I think now after several years I can call my self a stamper. How many stamps do you need before you can call yourself a stamper? I've probably exceeded that quantity. ;-) As any scrapbooker knows it can be daunting to keep up with all the family events, holiday parties and the kids special moments. Scrapbook Saturday is a way for me to proudly display my family moments while giving me motivation to "keep on cropping!"

Creative Encouragement (CE)- My newest adventure in cardmaking.  These posts will showcase the little packages of encouragement I'm determined to place along my journeys and/or a snapshot of where I'm paying it forward. We all have heard about doing an act of kindness for someone else just to brighten our world. It's my endeavor to leave some cheer for someone to find with an encouraging message written inside one of my handmade cards. I've called this  endeavor Creative Encouragement.

If your a card maker, I hope you join me with leaving a little Creative Encouragement for others and send me an email with a picture of where you left it and I'll post your picture to my blog.

I hope you enjoy my crafty posts and find some inspiration therein. Please join me in my crafting journey by becoming a follower of all things beautiful.
